Married on August 13th, 2022 at The Lakeside at Welch Estate in Powhatan, Virginia.
This. Wedding. Was. Perfect. From start to finish the details were seamless leaving no room for disappointment. This bride described herself as a “DIY” bride and boy did her and the family knock it out the park. Her sweet grandmother was in charge of the florals and once you scroll down below to see them you will be as blown away as I was! When I arrived, Brandy and her 5 bridesmaids (including one junior bridesmaid) was finishing their perfect hair and makeup.
The neutral colors of the makeup popped off with the soft dresses making it a romantic feel through and through.
Now, for a mid August wedding you are probably expecting me to say that it was extremely hot and we almost passed out from the heat. I mean, if you are a native Virginian you know how humid and sticky an August day usually is. HOWEVER, this day was perfect. No humidity, high 80s and low 50s. AKA a dream day for a wedding. The sun peeked through at all the right times causing the most epic sunset portraits to date.
Just wait for that sneek peak below!
The ceremony lasted a max fifteen minutes, covering all the most important things by her Uncle who was ordained just to officiate the wedding. How sweet, right? He did the perfect mix of humor and love making everyone giggle and feel the joy between this most perfect couple. You will see the picture of them walking down the aisle right after they kissed at the end and it just …
Lights my heart up!
After sunset pictures, it was party time!! This is one of my favorite things to photograph as I truly get to capture the couple in their natural element finally letting loose and having fun with their loved ones. I also get the honor of meeting with the guests and truly bonding! I am a photographer, but more importantly, I am a human that loves meeting amazing people. And trust me when I say this wedding was full of them! Okay, enough rambling, enjoy the photos from …
